The Ombudsman Program is designed to improve communication and cooperation between industry, the private sector and internal government sources. As the Ombudsman, Mr. Kallam assists individuals and industry in solving problems within the acquisition process and serves as the personal representative of the Commanding General.

However, with the recent announcement that GSA will merge its professional services offerings into a single Schedule, the plan is to offer an overview of the new GSA Professional Services Schedule. Our speaker will help shed more light and answer questions including a discussion of why GSA made this change, the benefits, and what to expect as this process moves forward.

Have you ever wondered about the details of the process the Army goes through in preparing a competitive solicitation, evaluating proposals and making a selection? Have you proposed on both Army and NASA procurements and been confused at the differences between those two Federal Procurement processes? This education seminar is for you! Carole Hubbard, Chief of the ACC-Redstone Source Selection Support Center of Excellence (S3COE), will provide an overview of the Army formal Source Selection process. During the briefing, Byron Butler of B2 Consulting, and past MSFC Director of Procurement, will discuss the differences with the NASA process – and the reasons for those differences. We intend for this to be an interactive discussion of the two processes, so come prepared to ask questions!
