Mr. Chronister was appointed to the Senior Executive Service in October 2005. Since February 2008, he has served as the Deputy to the Commanding General, US Army Aviation and Missile Command. In this position, Mr. Chronister manages a multifaceted and diverse organization with an annual budget of over $4 billion and a global workforce of over 11,000 military and civilian employees.
From October 2005 to February 2008, Mr. Chronister served as the Executive Director of the Integrated Materiel Management Center, US Army Aviation and Missile Command, at Redstone Arsenal, Alabama. His accomplishments include the establishment and management of the Prototype Integration Facility, a unique Government-Owned/Government-Operated enterprise that provides a rapidly responsive, cost effective approach to meeting weapon system program managers' materiel requirements. The Facility has executed in excess of $500 million of business supporting program managers across the Department of Defense.
